Link Building Challenge
By Christopher John Bennett
Link exchanging should be a major factor for you if you are trying to promote a website and gain traffic.
Search engines love links especially relevant links that are similar to you own websites content. People will click on links found on another site and this is where your traffic will come from, so as you can see the more links you have the more traffic you will have.
Without links people will never visit your website and the search engines (if they can find you) will never rank your site very high.
One way links are just that they only link from a website with no return link.
Reciprocal links are when links are exchanged, you place a link on your website and the recipient places a link back to your website.
Natural or Organic links are when people find your website and like it and add a link to it. It is good practice to place a “link to us” on your web page.
Paid Links in my opinion are not such a good idea, search engines do not seem to like them and they are really not necessary. If however you do want to pay for links then make sure they are good quality and relevant to your website.
How to get your links
I have had great results by using Link Market and my advice is to upgrade to a full member, this way you will not be limited to requesting only 5 links a day. Another tip try to get a software program called Linksbro more details about this on my website. The beauty of Linksbro is that it is a link directory of your own and you can control and submit links within seconds. There is no need to endlessly add links through your ftp server. This directory of your own will fill very quickly and you will gain plenty of free traffic.
After using the above two systems I have added over 150 links in only three days on my latest website and this will increase rapidly as the page rank of the site goes up.
When using Link Market try to request as many links as you can, I have 1500 requests for links all the time. The reason for this is because people are so slow responding or are using the old fashioned way of adding links through their ftp server.
When requesting links don’t just request links with high page ranks any links will do as long as they are full members because they are obviously the ones who care enough about their websites to be full members and you will often find that these websites with no ranking turn out to grow into page rank 7.
If you are just after a good page rank then stick to websites with similar content but if you are after traffic and plenty of it then request links from any websites and as many as you can get.
Good luck and remember never give up.
